Iglesia Cristiana, better known as the House of Refuge, is a non-denominational, bilingual church, located in Pasadena, Texas, founded in 1988. The House of Refuge relocated from 906 Joseph St. in Pasadena to its current location on Thomas Ave due to growth in attendance.
For many years Pastors Mike and Norma Gonzalez prayed to the Lord for the ability to be a church that would serve the community by teaching the Word of God to all ages, by helping develop the gifts and talents that God has already placed within us and to restore those that have fallen by the wayside in their spiritual walk. All this is happening here at the House of Refuge.
The ministry reaches out not only to those who physically visit the church, but also to those around the world who are able to view our program on television, live on the internet, as well as radio. Many have given their lives to the Lord while listening to our program.
